The Milwaukee Bucks have been playing good basketball this season behind MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Last night, the Bucks became the first team to reach 50 wins on the season after their 131-114 win over the Hornets. Sitting number one in the current Eastern Conference standings, the Bucks are looking to make noise in the playoffs.
The addition of Nikola Mirotic has given them a good scoring option off the bench, while signing Pau Gasol this past week will give them depth going forward.
This will be the first time in four year that we will see a different NBA Finals matchup other than the Warriors and Cavaliers. A few teams in the East are trying to make their case to replace the Cavaliers, but will the Bucks be that team?
After taking the Celtics to a game seven series and losing, the Bucks will look to get over that hump this year. They will need solid outings from players not name Giannis. All-star Kris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Malcolm Brogdon, Brook Lopez, and key bench players Mirotic, Tony Snell, and Ersan Ilyasova will all be looked upon to provide some type of impact to help surge the Bucks in the playoffs.
The Bucks next game is tonight against the Spurs, who are look to move up in the Western Conference standings before the playoffs.
